He also suggested <br />that Commissioners take a field trip and <br />examine the site and that the Director con- <br />fer u�i*_!: �on�stock and Davis. <br />Commissioner Haake suggested that education <br />of children would be the most effective <br />regarding safety. <br />Motion by Commissioner Fedor and seconded by <br />Commissioner Weflen to accept the petition <br />presented. The motion passed unanimously. <br />Chairman Peterson requested that Commissioners <br />as well as staff examine the situation and a <br />decision would be made at the next meeting. <br />Silver View Next cn the agenda was a discc�ssion of Silver <br />Community Park View Community Park. Bryant rec�mmended that <br />this be tabled untii the May 27 public meeting <br />on the issue. He also added i.hat the drainage <br />study being conducted by Bani��ter $ Short may <br />affect the park. <br />Park Development The Director was called on to report on park <br />development. Bryant pointad out the following <br />significant items: <br />Rough grade of Woodcrest complated <br />nvii��'i Ki&uo 8itli SailE SEc'u1R� Cv�ny1@.�.e4� S� <br />Greenfield. <br />Thirty-five trees and sixty shrubs have <br />been planted. <br />New bleachers have been put together and <br />placed in parks. <br />New skating lights are completed at Lambert <br />Park. <br />City Hall park buildings have been stained <br />for the first time. <br />Girl Scout fireplace will be completed by <br />May 1. <br />Groveland ballfield almost done. <br />
