Call To Order MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY QF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA Regular Session May 27, 1976 City Hall The Mounds View Parks $ Recreation Commission met in regular session and was called to order by acting Chairperson Barb Haake at 6:45 p.m. Roll Call Acting Chairperson Barb Haake, Commissioners Wayne Weflen, Jacque Coplin, and Gordon Fedor. Also present were Roger Baumgartner, Councilman; �oug $:yant, Director; Marcia deLaBruere, Program Supervisor; John Turrittin, Landscape Architect; and Mary Kualheim, Summer Intern. Visitors were Judy Rowley and Jack Kirk. Approval of Motion by Commissioner Fedor and se:onded by Minutes Commissioner Weflen to aporove the minutes of April 29, 1976, as amended. The amendment was: 1. Change date of minutes from May 27, 1976 to April 29, 1976. Councilman's Report Ardan Park Ponds The motion passed unanimously. Motion by Commissioner Fedor and seconded by Commissioner Weflen to approve the minutes of March 25, 1976. The motion passed unanimously. Councilman Roger Baumgartner commented that the full page add in the New Brighton Bulletin was impressive regarding recreational activities. He commended the Parks and Recreation Department statf resyc;.sible: The next item on the agenda was a discussion of the Ardan Park ponds ..nd whether or not they should be fenced. At this time Chairperson Haake called on the Director to present a slide presen- tation. Chairperson Haake and Commissionar Coplin commented that the banks looked too steep and that there was some erosion. Motion by Commissioner Coplin and seconded by Commissioner Fedor to adjourn the regular session until the special meeting is concluded. Motion passed unani- mously. Adjournment 7:10 p.m.
