He reported that another <br />(cont.) public meeting would be held on June 10 at 7:00 <br />p.m. and June 24 at 7:30 p.m. <br />Motion by Commissioner Coplin and seconded by <br />Chairperson Haake to adjourn tfie special meeting. <br />Motion passed unanimously. She felt other hazards occured <br />between homes and ponds. <br />Commissioner Fedor felt crossing Long Lake Road <br />was a bad hazard. Children should have adult <br />supervision to cross. <br />Commissioner Weflen liked the park as is. <br />Commissioner Coplin suggests cutting down banks. <br />Commissioner Fedor suggest cleaning up erosion. <br />Commissicner Haake suggests getting a more general <br />slope. Also the dirt dike between ponds needs a <br />retaining wall on each side and barricafles. <br />Commissioner Coplin moved to not fence the park <br />or ponds at Ardan Park and rscu�mends to the City <br />Council to regrade slopes, fill erosion, use <br />timbers and build a retraining wall wi each side <br />of the dirt dike, remove barbed wire fence, and <br />evaluate condition of judicial ditch. <br />Commissioner Fedor seconded the motion and it <br />passed unanimously. <br />Commissioner Fedor moved to clean-up brush and <br />debris at Ardan Park before the project is <br />officially completed. Commissioner Weflen <br />seconded the motion and it passed unanimously. <br />Commissioner Weflen moved that no further action <br />be taken regarding the tot lot or other facili- <br />ties proposed for Ardan Park until after the <br />project was officially turned over to the Park and <br />Recreation Department. Commissioner Fedor seconded <br />the motion and it passed unanimously. <br />Ramsey County Motion by Commissioner Coplin and seconded by <br />Trails Commissioner Weflen to accept and recommend to <br />the City Council for approval the proposed "P,s�sey <br />County Regional Recreational Bikeway System." The <br />motion passed unanimously. (See attached county <br />resolution). <br />
