-2- <br />Ardan Park Next on the agenda Commissioners were requested <br />to submit ideas for the Ardan Park Conceptual <br />Plan. A discussion ensued with suggestions <br />includinq; passive area, parking, tot lot, <br />trails, building - picnic type, landscaping, <br />horseshoes, and restoration of some o£ the <br />natural, ornamental qualitiea of the environ- <br />ment. <br />Public Works The Director of Parks & Recreation reported that <br />Grant the City would be applying for another grant <br />established by the Public Works Employment Act <br />of 1976. He stated that the City Council had <br />established park improvements as the main priority. <br />Therefore, he requested prioritized sugqestions <br />for main improvements for this grant. A discussion <br />followed. <br />Nbtion by Co�nissioner Coplin authorizing the <br />following priorities for the Public Works Grant. <br />The priorities included: <br />1. shelter buildings and sewer/water <br />2. tennis courts <br />3. undezground water <br />4. tile ditches and culverts <br />5. hockey rinks and lightinq <br />6. nature center <br />7. Silver View grading <br />8. parking lots <br />The motion was seconded by Commissioner Weflen and <br />passed unanimously. <br />Sui9ivisions Motion by Commissioner Coplin and seconded by <br />Commissioner Fedor to accept cash dedications to <br />the Park Fund in accordance with Ordinance #42.07 <br />for the following subdivisions: Joyce E. Moore <br />Plasch, Peter A. Jordan, LeROy Johnson, Jack i <br />Renneth Krugen, David L. Bissonnette, Lee Stauffacher,' <br />Clarence L. Weston, Velda Fogard, Robert R. 8 <br />Blanche Andrus, Donald 6 Beverly Gimpel, Sandra <br />Burke Harley, and Floyd Visger. <br />The motion passed unanimously. <br />Commissioners Commissioner Haake requested a report on the Park <br />Comnents and Playqround Fund at the next Commission meeting. <br />Commissioners also agreed that an update on the <br />budqet and on bond issues would be valuable infor- <br />mation for the Commisaion and ask the Director to <br />supply this as soon as posaible. <br />Adjournmen� Motion by Commissioner Lundquiat and seconded by <br />Commisaioner Weflen to adjourn the meetinq. The <br />motion paeaed unanimously. The Park s Recreation <br />Co�mnfasion adjourned at 6:25 p.m. <br />
