e� <br />The next aftemoon's workshop I attended was entitled, "Forecas[ing the <br />Future, Can We? Should We?", wikh guest speaker Sco[t Erickson, President <br />of Future Sys[ems, Inc. <br />Unfortunately his main objective was [o seli his company's servicea and <br />they were of no interest to me. <br />The finel seasion I at[ended was entitled, "The Older Adul[: Hints for <br />Program Success"� coordinated by Liz Colea, Director of Older Adult Programa. <br />Once agai¢ we all hPard of some of the many creative programing ideas from <br />today's oldar americans: <br />1. Some Sr. Cluba are spansoring Disco Dar.ces for teena to raise <br />money for their trips. <br />2. In depth current event sessions to discuss issues such as the <br />Yanama Canal Treaty and the Oil Embargo. <br />All in all the conference was a positive gmwth experience and many ideas, <br />were shared with my fellov colleag-.ies that I hope to implement in the futuse. <br />
