Lambert Park <br />Survey <br />-2- <br />Anderson has completed the six month probation period. The <br />Mermaid Supper Club bowling alley permi[ has been approved. <br />As a result the City can look forward to use of a bowling <br />facility which will be conducive to recreation progra�ing. <br />The annual Community Education Dinner meeting is May 9> <br />1978 at McGuires. All Commissioners are encouraged to <br />attend. <br />It was reported tha[ the Lambert Park Survey had a poor <br />return. Of 300 surveys hand delivered, only 21 replies <br />were returned. <br />C.E.T.A. Grant Applicationa have been submitted for 3- 1 year employ- <br />ment positions for the establishmen[ of Neighborhood Leisure <br />Councils. Also, approval for 1 secretarial aide and 4 <br />maintenance laborera has been granted. <br />Donations A donation of $200.00 received from the Mounds View Jaycees <br />will be used for purchase of trees to be placed in Ardan <br />Park. A donation of $100.00 has been received from the <br />iiouuds View Snuwmobiiz .^. . Co�isai�^.ar Lin�»e atL3e 8 <br />motion to use the $100.00�donation for the development of <br />2 picnic kits. Commissioner Haake seconded the motion. <br />The motion passed 6 Ayea <br />0 Naye <br />Tournament The Softball Toumament Survey and proposed policy was � <br />Survey reviewed. Commissioner Coplin made the motion [o accep[ <br />the policy as wri[ten during the 1978 softball season <br />with the stipula[ion that such a policy can be reacinded <br />• � � if problems should develop. Commissioner Fedor seconded <br />the mo[ion. <br />The motion passed. 6 Ayea <br />0 Nays <br />City Hall After discuasion of the City Hall garden plot Chairman <br />Gardens Burmeister made a motion to request that the City Council <br />provide funding for development of a Mounds View flower <br />garden. Co�iseioner Linke seconded the motion. <br />The mo[ion passed. 7 Ayea <br />0 Nays <br />New Business Director Anderson reported the vandaliem of 2 Edgemood <br />Drive boulevard trees. The trees were worth an estimated <br />$1,800.00. Insurance will cover the replacement coat of <br />the treea. <br />Commisaioner Haake reported on the plans for a 10' wide <br />valk easement through the houeing develupment.on Pleaeant <br />View Dr3ve. ��`�� <br />
