-2- <br />Marcb - Meet with Midwest Planning to discuss time line, itinerary, etc. <br />for City Cort�rehensive Plan. <br />April - Finalize surveys for neighborhood distributions. <br />k�y - Distribute surveys door to door with assistance from C.E.T.A <br />x�luyees. <br />Ju^.� - Finish distribution and review neighborhood survey sheets. <br />u+�iy and August - Prepare local park designs and compile data from surveys. <br />Septertber - October - Review preliminary plans and findings at neighbor- <br />hood meetings. Hold final hearings on proposed park plans. <br />Novertber - Finalize and print master plan and submit to Planning and Parks <br />and Recreation Comnissions. <br />December - Submit to City Council for final approvat. <br />Sumnary <br />Co�ryrehensive parks and open space planning is a multistage operation. The .. <br />following is a brief recap of the process we must attempt to follow: <br />1. Tdentify and prioritize park and space development and acquisition � <br />plans for the next 10 years. <br />2.
