-4- <br />7978 Annual Copies of the 1978 Annual Report were received by Comnissioners <br />Report along with their information packets. The 1978 Annuai Report <br />was reviewed. Comnissioners suggested that other organizations <br />such as: League of Women Voters, Jaycees> Pianning Commission <br />and others would appreciate a copy of the Report. <br />Staff Report Director Anderson reviewed the staff report. <br />Comnissioner Kuluvar asked whether or not the Garden-A-Lot <br />has specific guidelines with which the gardeners must abide. <br />Uirector Anderson replied that a set of guidelines is used <br />and every gardener has a copy of such guidelines. <br />"Festival in the Park" activities were reviewed by Program <br />Supervisor Kvalheim as possibilities for the 1979 event. <br />Director Anderson announced that tickets are being sold for <br />the Appreciation Dinner which will be held March 31 at the <br />Bet Rae Ballroam. Director Anderson also announced that a <br />new squad car had been involved in an accident and was totalled. <br />Four people were injured in the accident. <br />Commissioner Linke reported that the Lakeside Park Comnission <br />had received a very negative letter in response to their <br />proposal from Ra�ey County as the Ra�ey County Parks and <br />Recreation Depart�rent is not supportive of Ramsey County <br />acquisition of Lakeside Park. The county has required that <br />$50,000 worth of park improvements be cortQleted before <br />adoption of the park will be negotiated. <br />Adjournment Comnissiner Linke made a motion to adjourn the meeting. <br />Commssioner Kuluvar seconded the motion, irotion passed <br />unanimwsiy.
