ORDINANCE NO. 804 <br />CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC SITES AND OPEN SPACES <br />continued � — <br />804.05 General Conduct Cont. <br />R. Solicitin¢ Alms <br />No person shall beg or solicit alms� donations or contribu- <br />tions. <br />5, Law Enforcement Officers and Emoloyees <br />1. No person shall willfully resist� refuse or faii to comply <br />with any order� direction or request lawfulLy given by any <br />law enforcement officer or Department employee acting under <br />[he authority of the City and in accordance with this <br />ordinance, <br />2. No person shall interfere with� or in any manner hinder any <br />Department emplayee or law enforcement officer during the <br />performance of his assigned duties� nor any employee of a <br />contrector or other City Department engaged in constxuction� <br />repairing or caring for any public siEe or open space or <br />part thereoi� or while in the discharge of duties conferred <br />by this ordinance. <br />T. Posted Re¢ulations, Directional Siqns and Graphics <br />No person shall disxegard or fail to comply with any posted <br />regulations� directional signs and graphics� barriers or other <br />control devices located within any pu6lic site or open space <br />or on any parkway. <br />804,06 Traffic Rules <br />A. No petson shall drive or operate a motor vehicle within any public <br />site or open spaye except ugon roadways� psrking areas� parkways <br />or othez areas designated for such use. Disabled vehiclea may <br />be moved off a paved area to allow for the continued flow oi <br />traffic buf the vehicle must be repaired ox removed within two <br />hours� unless other arrangements are made with the Director, <br />B. No person shall operate a motor vehicLe within any puAlic site <br />or open space or on any parkway in violation of posted regulations <br />and directional signs: Chapter 169� Minnesota Statu[es� 1974� as <br />amended� eounty or municipal traffic ordinances� or orders or <br />direction of law enforcement officers or Depar[ment employees. <br />C. No person shall drive or operate a vehicle on or along any roads� <br />drives or parking Lots which have been restricted� closed or posted <br />with appxopriate signs or barricades. The City Council shall have <br />the authority to order roads� drives or parking lo[s within any <br />public site or open spece or any parkway closed during the <br />proceas of conatruction� reconstruction� or repair or when in his <br />opinion, weather conditions render travel unsafe or unduly <br />des[ructive. a,�,.�� <br />dS�� <br />
