ORDINANCE N0. 804 <br />CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT OF PlleLIC SITES AND OPEN SPACES <br />Continued <br />804.06 Traffic Rules Cont. <br />D, No person shall operate a motor vehicle in a careless or reckless <br />manner or without due regard for the safety and rights of <br />pedestrians and drivers and occupants of a11 other vehicles� <br />sa as to endanger the life� limb or property of any o[her person <br />while in lawful use of a public site or open space, <br />E, No person shall park� stop or leave a vehicle in any public site <br />or open space or on any parkway between the hours of 10:00 p.m, <br />to 6:00 a,m,� unless arrangements are made with the Director, <br />F, No person shall operate a vehicle in any public site or open <br />space or on any parkway at a speed in excess of 15 miles per <br />hour or in excess of posted speed limits. <br />G, No person shall operate a vehicle in any public site or open <br />space which emits excessive or irritating noise� noxious fa�mes� <br />dense smoke or other pollutants. <br />H. No person shxll wash� grease� change oil� service or repair any <br />vehicle in any public site or open space. A11 disabled vehicles <br />shall quickly be mede operational or removed from the public site <br />or open space, . <br />I. No person shall park a vehicle adjacent to any curb painted yellow <br />in any public site or open space. <br />J. Vehicles illegally parked� disabled or abandoned may be toweti <br />away and impounded at the owner's expense. Said vehicle may be sold <br />if unclaimed after nine[y (90) days to pay towing and atorage <br />charges, <br />K. No person shail drink� consume or have in his posseasion an open <br />bottle or container of an alcohollc or i.�toxicating beverage in <br />any motor vehicle when such vehicle is in a public site or open <br />space or on a parkway, <br />L, Vehicles shall yield the right-of-way at all times to pedestxiana. <br />M, No person shall pazticipate in a drag race or test of unxeasonable <br />acceleration in any public si[e or open space or on any parkway. <br />N, No person shall cause any taxi� Limousine or other vehicle for <br />hire to atand in any public site or open space or on any parkway <br />for the purpose of soliciting or taking in passengers other than <br />those who requested or were carx3ed to the site by said vehicle� <br />unless Licensed by the City. <br />804,07 Penalties for Violation <br />A, Re¢ulations in thls Part <br />L. Any person violating any of [he provisions of this ordinance� <br />shall be adjudged guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction <br />thereof sAall be subject to a fine not in excess of $500.00 <br />or to imprisonment not in exeess of 90 days in lail or both. <br />In addition� any person convicted of violation of any portion <br />of this oxdinance may forfe3t his right to use or be present <br />in any public site or open space within the City of Woodbury <br />£oc a period of 30 days. <br />- 11 - <br />
