REVISED DR:IFT 70/5/79 F.�GEW00� JO1NT POWERS AGREEt•tENT REGARDING UEVELOPN�ENT AND USE OF INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT N0. 621 OUTSIDE FACILITIES AT EUGEWOOD JIINIOR HIGH SCHOOL THIS AGREEMENT, made this day of , 1979 between the LITY OF MOUNDS VIEw> hereinafter referred to as the "CITY" and INOEPEf�DENT SCHOOL D1S- TRICT N0. 621, hereinafter referred to as the "SCHOOL DISTRICT". WITNESSETH: . . WHEREAS, the School District owns and operates Edgewootl Junior High, the premises of which include certain outside facitities, said school sites delineated in red on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A, and WHEREAS, it is the mutual desire of the School District and the City to coop- erate for the purposes of permitting said outside facilities to be used for the edu- cation and recreation activity programs of the School District and the Lity, and � WHEREAS, the School District and the City desires to upgrade and maintain the •— Edyewood Junior Nigh vutside facilities to perrnit utilization, not onty by the pupils of the School District, but also by the citizens of the School District and of the City, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that in consideration of the foregoing reci- tats and mutual covenants and promises herein set forth, it is hereby agreed by and between the School District and the City as fallows: 1. INSTALLATION, �PGRADING , MpINTENANCE AND REPAiR The City agrees to participate in the maintenance and development of the outside facitities at Edqewood .Junior High. The City's contributions will consist of in-kind services (i.e., grading. engineering, mowing, repairing and replacement) will total for the three (3) year period 1979, 1980 and 1981. Specific maintenance agreements viill be developed mutually by both parties before March 15, 1980 for this three (3) year time period. The form and amount of the City's and District's contributions starting with 1982 and thereafter oii11 be detailed yearly in a maintenance agree- ment beto-ieen the City and the School District, approved by March 15 � `'' each year. ,
