Youth Athletic Task Force Merta Page 2
4. Developing overidig philosophies and program facilitation procedures
Uat can be used by all youth athletic associations.
Additional items that could be considered are training sessions in
scheduling, parliamentary procedure, group dynamics, comnittee
organization> flyer preparation, evaluation techniques, and public
relations.
We have just begun to plant this seed for this type of committee through a
recent mailing to our youth athletic coaches. I have enclosed a copy of the
sports line publ5cation which was mailed to each of our youth coaches with a
cover letter notifying them of our intent.
As we are still in the formutative stage we are seeking input from the
Comnission as to what directions they might envision a task force such as
this mSght take. Following the Comm555ion's input staff will be drafting
a oery specific list of goals and objectives for such a committee and report
back to the Commission in January.
