.
' Mr. Imm
12/10/79
A brief description of each of the enclosed maps is as follows:
Page 2
Definitions: 1. Oriainal L.N.W.G.O.N. rant - Tnis was ine grani swwitied irn
August, 1976.
2. Revised L.A.W.C.O.N. The area labled L.A.W.L.O.N. is the original 19 acres of land that
was proposed in the original grant submitted in August, 1976.
2. Map d2 - This map clarifies the proposed land "swaps" that are being considered
by the Lity of Ibunds View, Kraus/Anderson, and State Planning Agency:
a. Parcel Ml (existing 16.9 acres of City park land) is being "swapped" for
parcel H4 (16.9 acres of Kraus/Anderson property).
b. Parcel 82 (approximately 10 acres of land which was orginally proposed in .
August, 1976) will remain as Kraus/Anderson property and Parcei M3 (property '
awned by Kraus/Anderson, 12 acres in size) will be purchased with the
revised L.A.W.L.O.N. grant monies. The "striped" area (7 acres) is slated
for acquisition under both the original and revTsed grant proposals.
3. Map M3 - This nup outlines the final 19 acres that would be acquired with the
revised grant proposal Wtallin9 5136,800. Once again,. the only dSfference
between the ariginal and the revised grant is the "saap" of ezisting park lad
and to purchase 12 acres north of the original site.
4. Map ti4 - This map shows the final park location whicA will total approzimatety
53.2 acres of land including a 12.8 acre pond area.
5. MaD M5 - This map defines the final park boundary (solid line) with the proposed
locations of facitities rithin the park parameter.
In summary, the following benefits wouid be derived from the revised L.A.W.C.O.N. .
grant proposaL•
1. The City park would have improved vebicular access from Lounty Hoad I rather
than County Road N-2 or Silver Lake Raad.
2. The access road costs would be reduced as the developer will be installing
the initial curD cut off from County Road I.
3. 11 1Y.8 acre lake wilt be created et the developer's expense.
4. The Lrail network wilt be increased thrne fold under the revised proposal.
5.
