Staf.li indiraCeA that <br />thcy have expe�nded a lit[le over 5255,000.00 to <br />date and i[ appears that the Einal budyet account- <br />iny will show a deEicit oE apNroximatcly <br />$1,600.00. The C�mmission accepted the report and <br />stated [hat they would like to see some type ot <br />cledication oE [he park be considered as part of <br />the "Fes[ival in the Park" activities. StafE <br />stated that they would be discussiny this <br />possibility at the next Festivi[ies Commission <br />meeting. <br />SUMMER RECREATION Staff just reviewed vecy quickly the summer <br />PROGRAM UPDATE recreation proyram oEferings and s[ated that <br />the super ball program with the new pitching <br />machine would be operational in early June. <br />REVIEW POLICY StafE discussed the problems that had happened <br />CHANGE ON WEEKENU in the past with no supervision on weekend <br />TOURNAMENTS [ournaments and recommended that the tournament <br />policy be altered to reflect having a paid <br />supervisor on duty at all times. A motion was <br />then made by Commissioner Bowman, seconded by <br />�„/ Chairperson eurmeister to have a supervisor Eor <br />all tournainents [o be paid for by the tournament <br />coordinator.
