MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE <br /> PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> • COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> May 24 , 1984 <br /> Mounds View City Hall <br /> Council Chambers <br /> 6 : 30 p.m. <br /> CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Chairperson <br /> Burmeister at 6 : 40 p.m. <br /> ROLL CALL Commissioners present: Commissioners Silvis, <br /> Bowman , Long , Wermager , and Chairperson <br /> Burmeister 065A-44.4v, <br /> Commissioners absent : Commission Letendre <br /> Councilmembers absent: CouncilmembPr Doty <br /> called to indicate that he would be on vacation <br /> • during the week of May 24 and would be unable <br /> to attend. <br /> Staff present : Director Anderson <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES There were no minutes to approve as the regu- <br /> larly scheduled meeting was cancelled due to <br /> lack of quorum. <br /> CHAIRMAN ' S REPORT Chairman Burmeister had no formal report at <br /> this time . Commissioner Wermager raised the <br /> issue with staff as to why Oakwood and Wood- <br /> crE..st Parks were in such deplorable condition . <br /> Staff indicated that there were no monies <br /> available for the grading and seeding of Oak- <br /> wood and Woodcrest Parks and that the sites <br /> would be rough graded by staff to eliminate the <br /> existing eyesore . In addition , staff indicated <br /> that some monies would be found , since the Com- <br /> mission deemed it a priority to seed the parks <br /> in the fall of 1984. <br />
