StafE distrib- <br />uted a copy of tne Eencing policy adopted by <br />the Parks and Recreation Commission and the <br />Commission indicated that they felt the pol- <br />icy was still acceptable. <br />FALL RECREATION Staff reviewed the August/September Recrea- <br />PROGRAM UPDATE tion Brochure and hiyhlighted the new reCrea- <br />tion programs: <br />1. Hop 'n' Tots <br />2. Mom 'n' Me <br />3. Saturday Break Dancing <br />4. Youth and Teen Specials <br />5. Daytime 3-Man Rasketball <br />6. Ba,ketball Clinic <br />7. Sports Injury/Preventions <br />8. Health Awareness proyrams including <br />"USing your food intake effectively". <br />9. Body Evolution "Slow n Easy" workout <br />10. Adult Aeginning Bailet Class <br />11. Retirement Workshop/A Preparation for <br />Retirement <br />GREENFIELD PARK City Finance Director Brayec was in atten- <br />dance to review with the Parks and Recreation <br />Commission the City status of existing funds <br />that could be "tapped" for the Greenfield <br />Park gran[ match. Finance Dicector Brayer <br />reviewed [he Storm Watec Management Fund, <br />Special projects Fund, and Revenue Sharing <br />Funds and indicated that approximately <br />570,000 could be available based on the fol- <br />lwring: <br />1. That 521,849 would be used from the Park <br />Dedication fee for the Pinecrest Proper- <br />ties <br />540,000 would be allocated from the 1986 <br />Park Dedica�ion Fund <br />An additional SH,000 could be allocated <br />from the Storm Water Management Fund to <br />do the dredging as budgeted at Greenfield <br />Park. <br />
