Grant. The Pdrk Commis-
sion further stated that the development of
Greenfield Park was a priority and tney felt
that with yrant monies being on such a limit-
ed basis, all efforts should be made to util-
ize the matching funds.
A motion was made by Chairperson Burmeister,
seconded by Commissioner Bowman to accept the
Gceenfiald Park L.A.W.C.O.N. grant in 1985
with the inatchiny funds [o be allocated from
[he Pinecrest Park Dedication Fund, in[erest
from the Special Project Fund of S40,OOD rep-
rioritize the 1986 and 1985 projects with an
adAitional S8,OU0 from the Storm Water Man-
ayemen[ Fund. Staff
reviewed this issue during the discussion of
the Greenfieltl Park developmen[ plan and
recommended that te Commission yo on record
requesting cash rather than land eyuivilent.
Based on the appraisal of. [he property of
5709,800.00, Che potential park Aedica[ion
fee would be S7U,980.00. it appears that the
lantl will be sub-divitled in sections with the
ini[ial sub-division being 15,33 acres enti-
[letl the Rachell's Addition, which would be a
park dedica[i„ cacye of S21,H49.00.
Followiny stafE's presantation, a motion was
made by Commissinn Burmeister, seconded by
Commissioner Sllvis tu recommenA approval oE
cash; in lieu nf Land Eor the Pineccest Pro-
perGies park Aedication fee.
6 ayes, 0 nays
✓
