, <br />� <br />-z- <br />Damon Farber and Asaociates was represented <br />by Damon F'arber, President, and his presenta- <br />Sundae Engineering and he outlined his firms <br />re�ated experience and backyround which was <br />similar to the Greenffeld Park project. Mr. <br />Farber indicated that Sundae Engineerfng had <br />done work for the City's park system in the <br />paat, and was familiar with the hydrological <br />issues thaC were involved. Mr. Farber indi- <br />cated that he would be the principal respon- <br />sible for the project, and that there would <br />be two aseocfates working with him. <br />Barton-Aschmann and Associates was represent- <br />ed by Barry Warner, Landacape Architect and <br />Dave Warzala, Cfvil Engineer, and thefr pre- <br />sentation oommenced at 7s45 p.m. Barton- <br />Aschmann presented a flaw chart, related pro- <br />jects, and specific proposals as to how they <br />would complete the project as scheduled. <br />Barton-Aschmann and Associates indicated that <br />they had completed major park related plans <br />in the City of Burnsville, which had a number <br />of parks similar in design. <br />`� A motion was made by Commissioner Bowman, <br />seconded by Commissioner Long to recommend <br />that the firm of Barton-Aschmann be retained <br />by the City for the engineering services for <br />Greenfield Park. <br />REVIEW YEAREND MEETING <br />SCHEDULE <br />The motion passed unanimously 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />Staff indicated that the regularly scheduled <br />December meeting would fall on Thursday, <br />December 27, 1984 and that due to t�e busy <br />Christmas schedule, it might be best to re- <br />evaluate our meeting schedule. The Commis- <br />sion concurred and indicated that a special <br />meeting should be called the first week in <br />January to review the Greenfield Park concept <br />plan prior to development of a formal master <br />plan. <br />ADJUURNMENT A motion was made by Commissioner Linnel, <br />seconded by Commissioner Long to adjourn the <br />meeting at 9:32 p.m. Motion passed unani- <br />mously 7 ayes, 0 nays. <br />�es` tful u � tted, <br />_ ' �` <br />. �nd , irec� <br />Parks, Recrea ion and Forestry <br />8KA/sll <br />
