There will be two <br /> "business representative" vacancies and one "resident representative" vacancy. <br /> Chapter 408 of the Mounds View City Code states: The Commission shall be composed of <br /> seven (7) equal voting members, including three (3) business representatives and four(4) <br /> residents, appointed by the Authority Board of Commissioners based on the <br /> recommendation of the Economic Development Commission, from the applications <br /> submitted. <br /> Attached is Chapter 408 for the EDC's reference. <br /> Discussion <br /> The three people listed below (in alphabetical order) submitted EDC applications to City <br /> staff. Attached are the three completed applications for the EDC's review. <br /> Name of Applicant Type of Application <br /> Jim Freichels business <br /> Jason Helgemoe business <br /> Gary Stevenson resident <br /> Recommendation <br /> Staff recommends that the EDC recommend to the EDA who should fill the EDC vacancies <br /> based on the applications submitted. Each person appointed by the EDA will serve a <br /> three-year term on the EDC from January 1, 2013 to December 31, 2015.
