The main reason for this suggestion is that the City has never undertaken <br /> such a campaign. If the City markets each word of the existing tagline, we may be <br /> reminded of why Pride, Progress and Partnerships was chosen as the City's tagline 18 <br /> years ago and how it could still relevant today and into the future. <br /> During Risdall's survey work in Fall 2008, when businesses were asked if Pride, Progress <br /> and Partnerships appropriately described the City, the majority of business respondents <br /> (80.6%) indicated that it did.
