Acquisition of 2091 Hillview Road: Director Ericson discussed the ongoing efforts to acquire <br /> a boarded up Fourplex from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. <br /> iv. Longview Estates Subdivision: Director Ericson discussed the potential subdivision of <br /> property off of Silver Lake Road just to the north of Woodcrest Park. <br /> v. Minneapolis Metro North Convention and Visitors Bureau: Coordinator Parrish indicated <br /> that the ordinance establishing a local lodging tax was passedby the Council enabling the city to <br /> participate in the Minneapolis Metro North Convention and Visitors Bureau. An agreement <br /> articulating the services to be provided to the City was also approved by the Council. <br /> 6. EDC BUSINESS <br /> A. Presentation and Overview of the Comprehensive Plan <br /> Director Ericson provide an overview of the Comprehensive Plan including a discussion of the <br /> economic development element and proposed changes to the future land use map. <br /> B. County Road H2 Residential Infill Development <br /> Coordinator Parrish provided additional information to the Commission relative to the proposed <br /> County Road H2 Infill Development. He indicated that the EDA recently purchased a home <br /> located at 3016 County Road H2 and that a neighborhood meeting would take place later in the <br /> month. <br /> C. Discuss Disetronic Medical Systems Business Retention Visit. <br /> Commissioner Carlson and Coordinator Parrish discussed the most recent Business Retention <br /> Visit conducted at Disetronic Medical Systems. <br /> 7.
