The CVB is a tourism <br /> organization "whose mission is to promote economic growth for its members as a preferred <br /> destination for events, meetings, and tourism." Currently, member cities include Anoka, <br /> Blaine, Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Coon Rapids, Fridley, Maple Grove, and <br /> Shoreview. Jon Connelly, Executive Director of the CVB has articulated the benefits of <br /> 1111) <br /> membership in the following manner: <br /> BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP <br /> Our share of the Twin Cities Traveler. This results in revenue for tourism related <br /> businesses in your City and increased visitor spending in your City to further economic <br /> development.
