<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5733 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEW PURCHASING POLICY FOR THE CITY OF <br />MOUNDS VIEW AND AMENDING SECTION 1.50 OF THE PERSONNEL MANUAL <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to develop a new purchasing policy for <br />the City of Mounds View; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council and staff have met and worked on draft policies <br />numerous times since the fall of 2001; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the accompanying policy is designed to comply with federal and <br />state laws and the requirements of the Mounds View City Charter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the accompanying purchasing policy is designed to provide sound <br />financial and procedural guidelines to the staff for the purchase of goods and services for the <br />City. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Mounds View adopts <br />the attached purchasing policy; and <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that staff is directed to update the Personnel <br />Manual Section 1.50 to reflect changes adopted in the purchasing policy. <br /> <br />Adopted this 25th day of March, 2002. <br /> <br />..- .....---. ~ <br />.....1.../ /_. <br />f--... <br />Richard Sonterre, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />) . <br />.../_.. ....'\ ."j. ... ....f-~ J,") : <br />" \ v(7((\..A___ f I I I..^---tA.__ <br />Kathleen F.
