RESOLUTION NO. 8604 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING A REVISED JOB DESCRIPTION AND AUTHORIZATION TO <br /> ADVERTISE FOR THE RECORDS/EVIDENCE TECHNICIAN POSITION <br /> WHEREAS, the Records/Evidence Technician position is an essential position in the <br /> Mounds View Police Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the job description for Records/Evidence Technician has been revised <br /> to remove outdated duties; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Records Evidence Technician position will be vacant as of <br /> September 30, 2016, due to the retirement of Kathy Bednar; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Civil Service Commission met on May 31, 2016, to review <br /> and approve the process to advertise and hire a replacement Records Evidence/ <br /> Technician. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds <br /> View, Ramsey County, Minnesota, to approve the revised job description and advertise for <br /> the upcoming vacancy for the Records/Evidence Technician. <br /> Adopted this 11th day of July 2016. <br /> a,v - 0011 . <br /> Jae Flahe , _ • <br /> ATTEST: <br /> jttiwt-e1) <br /> James Ericson, City Administrator <br /> (seal) <br />
