MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />3. ROLL CALL: Flaherty, Gunn, Hull, Meehlhause, Mueller <br /> <br /> NOT PRESENT: None. <br /> <br />4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> A. Monday, May 13, 2013, City Council Agenda. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn. To Approve the Monday, May 13 , 2013, agenda as <br />presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br /> <br />Brad Berg, Government Relations for US’Again, located in New Brighton, requested the City <br />consider having several recycling bins placed throughout the City of Mounds View. He then <br />discussed the benefits these bins could offer the community. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty indicated the Council was notified of this request and suggested this item be <br />placed on a future work session agenda. <br /> <br />6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br /> A. Oaths of Office Ceremony for New Police Officers <br /> <br />Police Chief Kinney introduced the Council to newly hired Police Officers James Demko, Brian <br />Smith, and Brian Schulte. He congratulated each of the candidates for their honor and courage <br />and for their commitment to serving this community. <br /> <br />Police Chief Kinney administered the Oath of Office to Police Officers James Demko, Brian <br />Smith, and Brian Schulte. A round of applause was offered by all present.
