To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8639, <br />approving the Preliminary and Final Plat of a Major Subdivision of “Steil Addition”, consisting <br />of two lots, located at 2940 County Road H2, and 7255 Hidden Hollow Court, and releasing the <br />property from two agreements. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Resolution 8637, Approving Building Alterations and Building Maintenance <br />needs for the Community Center. <br /> <br />Public Works Supervisor Don Peterson requested the Council approve building alternations and <br />building maintenance needs for the Community Center. He described the improvements that <br />would be made along with the estimated costs. The success of the new website for the <br />Community Center was discussed, along with the increase in event center rentals. Staff <br />recommended the Council approve this request. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Meehlhause. Resolution 8640, Considering an Appeal of the Planning Commission’s <br />Denial of a Variance for property located at 7790 Eastwood Road. <br /> <br />This item was removed from the agenda. <br /> <br />D. Resolution 8636, Approve Building Alterations and Maintenance Items for <br />Random and Groveland Park Shelter Buildings. <br /> <br />Public Works Supervisor Peterson requested the Council approve building alternations and <br />maintenance items for the Random and Groveland Park shelters. He explained the improvements <br />that would be made to each of the shelters along with the estimated expense for the projects <br />which was just over $35,000. Staff reviewed how the project would be funded and <br />recommended approval. <br />
