Mounds View City Council October 10, 2016 <br />Regular Meeting Page 5 <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Mueller commented on the Coffee with a Cop event. <br /> <br /> B. Reports of Staff. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ericson explained staff would be reposting the Code Enforcement position <br />due to the fact the City did not receive many interested candidates. If the second round was <br />unsuccessful, a study for the position may be needed. <br /> <br />1. Request Temp Employee for the Receptionist/Recycling Coordinator <br />Position <br /> <br />City Administrator Ericson requested the Council allow staff to hire a temporary employee for <br />the receptionist/recycling coordinator position for 30 hours per week for the next three months. <br />He explained the position would be posted after the job description was reviewed by staff. It <br />was noted the City had adequate budget to cover the temporary worker. <br /> <br />The Council offered their support for the hiring of a temporary employee for the <br />receptionist/recycling coordinator position. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Erickson updated the Council on Area I and noted the last phase of Area I <br />would receive a base course on Wednesday. He was pleased to report the Silver View Park trail <br />had been paved. He encouraged residents to not push their leaves and grass clippings into the <br />storm sewer. He explained the City would be sweeping its streets over the coming weeks. <br /> <br />C. Reports of City Attorney. <br /> <br />There was nothing additional to report. <br /> <br />12. Next Council Work Session: Monday, November 7, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. <br />Next Council Meeting: Monday, October 24, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />13.
