Mounds View City Council June 27, 2016 <br />Regular Meeting Page 7 <br /> <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller commented the water pressure issue in her home and throughout her <br />neighborhood was very low yesterday. She encouraged homeowners to contact Public Works if <br />this were to occur in their home at some point in the future. Public Works Director Erickson <br />discussed the notification process for water operation issues. He reviewed the problem that <br />occurred with the SCADA system and noted the system had been flushed afterwards. <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer stated the preliminary 2017 General Fund Budget will be reviewed by the <br />City Council for the first time on Tuesday, July 5th. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Erickson noted Phase I of the Area I project would be paved on Thursday <br />or Friday of this week. He then updated the Council on the County and Met Council projects <br />occurring in the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty recommended that the light signals/posts on Mounds View Boulevard be looked <br />at by staff as he knew many were in need of repainting. <br /> <br /> B. Reports of Staff. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ericson asked if the Council wanted staff to send out a letter to residents <br />informing them of the sound wall situation, in advance of the MnDOT letter. The Council was in <br />support of this recommendation asking that letters be sent to all benefitting property owners, as <br />identified by MnDOT. <br /> <br />C. Reports of City Attorney. <br /> <br />City Attorney Riggs was pleased to report the Silver View Trail easement situation was finally <br />resolved. <br /> <br />12. Next Council Work Session: TUESDAY, July 5, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. <br />Next Council Meeting: Monday, July 11, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />13.
