Mounds View City Council April 28, 2014 <br />Regular Meeting Page 5 <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty supported the purchase of the two parcels as each could be used by the City for <br />storm water management. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />8. CONSENT AGENDA <br />A. Resolution 8246, Approving a Garbage/Rubbish Hauler License for Curbside <br />Waste, Inc. <br />B. Resolution 8247, Approving a Restaurant License for Alnahar Food Services, <br />Doing Business as Tony’s Sandwich King, located at 2546 County Road 10. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Approve the Consent Agenda as presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Approve the Just and Correct Claims as presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />10. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />A. March 10, 2014, City Council Meeting Minutes. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Approve the March 10, 2014, City Council meeting <br />minutes as presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />11. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause discussed an email received from Barb Haake regarding the <br />Comcast franchise renewal. He explained he attended the recent CTV/Comcast hearing at the <br />Shoreview City Hall. He indicated he was turned off by the Comcast attorney and the <br />statements he made to the public. He commented that peg fees were a main topic of contention <br />for Comcast. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller reported on Thursday, May 1, 2014, from 7:00-8:30 p.m. the Ramsey <br />County League of Local Government would discuss Housing Needs and Challenges for the <br />County. <br />
