Resolution 8249, Consideration of the Minor Subdivision of 3033 Bronson <br />Drive. <br /> <br />Planning Associate Heller explained that Rick Beyer, owner of 3033 Bronson Drive, has applied <br />for a minor subdivision to split his lot in half. This subdivision would create one additional lot, <br />and the applicant plans to build a house on the new vacant lot to sell. The applicant has provided <br />staff with a Certificate of Survey showing the proposed subdivision. It was noted the applicant <br />would be responsible for paying the City a $1,500 park dedication fee for the new lot. It was <br />noted the proposed request meets all City Code requirements. Staff explained the Planning <br />Commission discussed this matter in March and recommended approval of the minor <br />subdivision. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty requested further information from the applicant on his intentions for the two <br />lots. Rick Beyer, 3033 Bronson Drive, explained he would be fixing up the house on the existing <br />lot to sell. He indicated the newly created lot would then have a home built on it. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller asked if Parcel B would maintain the existing driveway. Mr. Beyer <br />reported the existing driveway would have to be removed. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8249, <br />Consideration of the Minor Subdivision of 3033 Bronson Drive. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />D. Resolution 8250, Approving the Acquisition of Tax Forfeited Parcels in the <br />Laport Meadows Wetlands Area. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ericson requested that the Council consider approving the acquisition of tax <br />forfeited parcels in the Laport Meadows Wetlands Area. He explained that staff has spoken with <br />the County and the parcels have been revalued. It was noted the two parcels were undevelopable. <br />He reported Parcel 1 would cost the City $592, and Parcel 2 would cost $489. Staff <br />recommended the Council approve the parcel acquisitions. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked where Parcel 3 was located. City Administrator Ericson <br />stated Parcel 3 was located on the backside of Groveland Roadand was completely landlocked. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause questioned what fund would cover the purchase price for the two <br />parcels. Finance Director Beer stated the Special Projects Fund would cover this expense. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn.
