Set a Public Hearing for Monday, July 14, 2014, at 7:00 p.m. to Consider a <br />Preliminary Plat and a Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment for a 5-lot <br />Subdivision at 8211 Red Oak Drive. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Approve the Consent Agenda as presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Approve the Just and Correct Claims as presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />10. APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />11. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn provided comment on the League of Minnesota Cities Conference and <br />discussed the seminars she attended. She looked forward to discussing the information she <br />gathered at a future work session meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller indicated she also attended the League of Minnesota Cities <br />Conference. She provided comment on her actions as a member of the Board of Directors. She <br />further explained the conferences she attended. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller stated the Festival in the Park Committee would be meeting again on <br />July 15th at City Hall at 7:00 p.m. She indicated the committee was still seeking volunteers for <br />this year’s event. <br /> <br />Council Member Hull explained he attended the League of Minnesota Cities Conference as well <br />and reviewed the seminars he participated in. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause noted he attended the League of Minnesota Cities Conference <br />noting he participated in a round table discussion on volunteerism. He appreciated the <br />conversations he had with fellow Councilmembers. He discussed the potential of Mounds View <br />becoming a GreenStep Community. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty indicated he received two calls from residents regarding water concerns.
