Mounds View City Council November 10, 2014 <br />Regular Meeting Page 7 <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested a correction on Page 9, Line 16, stating this line should <br />read, one noise complainant about Moe’s. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Approve the September 22, 2014, City Council <br />meeting minutes as corrected. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller asked why there was a delay in getting the August minutes before the <br />Council for approval. City Administrator Ericson believed that staff has had their efforts directed <br />to other tasks and this has led to a delay in getting the minutes before the Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested that the minutes be sent to the Council prior to each <br />meeting for review and revision by the Council members. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />11. REPORTS <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller stated the Festival in the Park Committee would be meeting on <br />Tuesday, November 18th at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall. She explained the committee was in need of <br />volunteers and those willing to assist were encouraged to attend. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller reported the Mounds View Business Council would be meeting on <br />Wednesday, November 12th at 7:30 a.m. at the Mounds View Community Center. She noted <br />Bruce Nustad would be the guest speaker. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller indicated the League of Minnesota Cities has finalized the lobbying <br />issues that would be addressed in the coming legislative session. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause explained Twin Cities Gateway would be meeting on November <br />18th and on November 19th he would be attending an NYFS personnel meeting. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause encouraged those students not participating in basketball or hockey <br />this winter to consider the Irondale Nordic Ski Team. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause congratulated Mayor Flaherty, Council Member Hull and Council <br />Member Mueller on their reelection. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty thanked all staff and election judges involved in this year’s election. <br /> <br /> B.
