Mounds View City Council December 14, 2015 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br /> <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Flaherty closed the public hearing at 7:13 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked if the proposed liquor establishments had to serve food. <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane reported this was the case. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt Ordinance 911, <br />an Ordinance to Consider Revising Section 502.12, Subdivision 2 of the Liquor Code Relating to <br />Sunday Sales and direct staff to publish a summary. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Gunn/Hull/Meehlhause/Mueller/ Flaherty. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />C. Resolution 8491, Setting the 2016 City Council Meeting Dates, Council/Staff <br />Retreat and the 2016 Town Hall Meeting. <br /> <br />Assistant City Administrator Crane requested the Council set the 2016 City Council meeting <br />schedule along with the Council/Staff Retreat and Town Hall Meeting dates. She discussed the <br />meeting dates that were impacted by holidays. She suggested the staff/Council retreat be held on <br />February 29th. She proposed the Town Hall meeting be held on either March 21st or April 18th. <br /> <br />The Council supported holding the staff/Council retreat on February 29th. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause requested the Town Hall meeting be held on March 21st. <br /> <br />Council Member Hull and Council Member Mueller agreed. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn supported the Town Hall meeting being held on April 18th to allow staff <br />additional time to prepare after the staff/Council retreat. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty agreed and asked if staff needed additional time to prepare for the Town Hall <br />meeting. City Administrator Ericson believed that the March 21st date would be sufficient and <br />staff did not require additional time to prepare. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8491, <br />Setting the 2016 City Council Meeting Dates, Council/Staff Retreat (February 29) and the 2016 <br />Town Hall Meeting (March 21). <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller requested the approved meeting dates be published on the City’s <br />website. Assistant City Administrator Crane reported this would be completed by staff. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />D.
