MEETING IS CALLED TO ORDER <br /> <br />2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br /> <br />3. ROLL CALL: Flaherty, Gunn, Hull, Meehlhause, Mueller <br /> <br /> NOT PRESENT: None. <br /> <br />4. APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> A. Monday, September 28, 2015, City Council Agenda. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Approve the Monday, September 28, 2015, <br />agenda as presented. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT <br /> <br />Mike Szczepanski, 2385 Laport Drive, discussed the need for a sound wall along US Highway <br />10. He encouraged the City Council to continue to push for a sound wall. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty reported that the City has worked each year on this issue and was seeking <br />legislation to assist with the expenses of a sound wall. It was his hope that when the additional <br />lanes were added to I-35W and Highway 10 that the sound wall would be included in this project. <br />He understood the need for a sound wall and commented that he has spoken to legislation on four <br />different occasions regarding this matter. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller explained that the City was also trying to address the air quality <br />standards along the corridor. <br /> <br />6. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br /> <br />None. <br />
