Mounds View City Council October 12, 2015 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br /> <br />Public Works Director Erickson requested the Council approve a Public Works Facility space <br />needs study. He reported staff had requested RFP’s from six consultants and received four <br />proposals. Staff had reviewed the four proposals and recommended the Council approve the <br />Public Works Facility Space Needs Study be completed by Ortel Architects. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty looked forward to seeing the results of the Public Works Space Needs Study. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Mueller. To Waive the First Reading and Adopt Resolution <br />8461, Approve Public Works Facility Space Needs Study Consultant. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked staff for the detailed information within the staff report <br />that was provided to the Council on this item. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />E. Items Related to Mustang Drive Street and Utility Improvement Project <br />Assessments: <br />1. Resolution 8463 – Declaring Amount to be Assessed <br /> <br />Public Works Director Erickson discussed the street and utility improvements that were <br />completed on Mustang Drive. He requested the Council adopt a Resolution that would declare <br />the amount to be assessed for the project. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked what kind of feedback staff has received regarding the <br />Mustang Drive improvement project. Public Works Director Erickson commented he had not <br />received any negative feedback. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8463, <br />Declaring Amount to be Assessed. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />2. Resolution 8464 – Setting Date and Time for Assessment Hearing. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Erickson requested the Council set a date and time for the assessment <br />hearing for the Mustang Drive street and utility improvement project. He reported the hearing <br />was scheduled for Monday, October 26, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8464, <br />Setting Date and Time for Assessment Hearing. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />8. CONSENT AGENDA
