Set a Public Hearing for Monday, October 26, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. to Consider <br />a Residential Kennel License for Gerald Kluthe and Lanette Zaiger located <br />at 7869 Greenwood Drive. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn requested staff have the number of calls made to the police and City staff <br />regarding the dogs at this property available at the public hearing. Assistant City Administrator <br />Crane reported she would have this information for the Council. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br /> <br />Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br /> <br />Council Member Mueller was delighted to report that at 8:00 a.m. this morning new asphalt was <br />being laid on Groveland Road. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported the BioLife Open House would be held on Tuesday, <br />October 13, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause indicated the Mounds View Business Council would be meeting <br />on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at 7:30 a.m. at the Mounds View Community Center. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause stated he would be attending an NYFS Board meeting this week to <br />discuss insurance options. He encouraged the public to participate in the NYFS Taste of <br />Northeast event on Thursday, October 22, 2015. The event would be held at Vadnais Heights <br />Commons and tickets were $30 in advance. <br /> <br />Mayor Flaherty explained the North Suburban Cable Commission met earlier this month in <br />Roseville and approved a CenturyLink franchise agreement. The franchise will now be reviewed <br />by the nine member cities.
