CALL TO ORDER: <br /> <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:31 a.m. by Chairperson Tom Field. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL: <br /> <br />Members Present: Dr. Greg Belting, Cindy Carlson, Tom Field, Torri Johnson, Stan McDonald, and Sean <br />Walther. <br />Member Absent: Wendy Marty <br />Staff Present: Community Development Director Jim Ericson and Economic Development <br />Coordinator Aaron Parrish <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Carlson/Walther moved to approve the minutes for January 26th, 2001: <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 6 Ayes 0 Nays <br /> <br />4. SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> <br />There was no special business discussed <br /> <br />5. REPORT OF COMMISSIONERS, STAFF AND EDA LIAISON <br /> <br />A. Commissioner Reports <br /> <br />There were no Commissioner Reports. <br /> <br />B. NB~MV Chamber of Commerce Update <br /> <br />Commissioner Belting reviewed the Chamber’s Business During Hours event that occurred Thursday, <br />March 8th, 2000. He indicated that a representative of the Vikings spoke regarding their current stadium <br />needs. Commissioner Belting also informed the Commission of the Chamber’s upcoming “Volunteer <br />Service Award” event on April 17, 2001. <br /> <br />C. Report of Staff <br /> <br />1. Office of the State Auditor Legal Compliance Audit: Coordinator Parrish informed the Commission <br />that the Office of the State Auditor is conducting a legal compliance audit of Mounds View’s TIF <br />districts. . <br />2. Highway 10 Consultant Selection: Coordinator Parrish indicated that proposals have been received <br />for consultant’s wishing to complete the Highway 10 Reconstruction and Revitalization Plan. A formal <br />recommendation will be made to the Council on Monday, March 12, 2001.
