Consideration City Participation in the Minneapolis Metro North Convention and Visitor’s Bureau <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Carlson/Johnson to recommend the City’s participation in the Minneapolis Metro North <br />Convention and Visitor’s Bureau: <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 6 Ayes 0 Nays <br /> <br />B. Adopt Revised 2001 Work Plan <br /> <br />Through discussion, it was the consensus of the Commission that item #13 was amended to read the <br />following: <br /> <br />Be aware of intergovernmental affairs, particularly at the state level, regarding issues effecting local <br />economic development. <br /> <br />After deliberation, the following motion was made: <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Belting/Walther to approve the 2001 Work Plan as amended: <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 6 Ayes 0 Nays <br /> <br />C. Annual Review of Bylaws <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Carlson/Belting to approve Resolution No. 01-EDC-32 approving the 2001 Economic <br />Development Commission Bylaws as amended: <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 6 Ayes 0 Nays <br /> <br />D. Redevelopment Tools and Priorities <br /> <br />The Commission considered six potential redevelopment opportunities. After a brief overview of each, the <br />Commission prioritized the sites in the following manner: <br /> <br />1. Everest County Highway 10 Properties: 30 points <br />2. Silver Lake Road and County Highway 10: 25 points <br />3. A. Groveland and County Highway 10: 20 points <br />B. Network Liquors: 20 points <br />C. Skyline Motel: 20 points <br /> 6. Herbst and Pettibone: 11 points <br /> <br />7.
