CALL TO ORDER: <br /> <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:32 a.m. by Vice Chairperson Cindy Carlson. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL: <br /> <br />Members Present: Dr. Greg Belting, Cindy Carlson, Torri Johnson, Wendy Marty, and Sean Walther. <br />Member Absent: Tom Field and Stan McDonald <br />Staff Present: Economic Development Coordinator Aaron Parrish, Community Development Director <br />Jim Ericson, and Planning Associate Jim Atkinson <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br /> <br />No minutes were presented for approval <br /> <br />4. SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Introduction of the City’s new Planning Associate Jim Atkinson <br /> <br />5. REPORT OF COMMISSIONERS, STAFF AND EDA LIAISON <br /> <br />A. Commissioner Reports <br /> <br />There were no reports <br /> <br /> <br />B. NB~MV Chamber of Commerce Update <br /> <br />Commissioner Belting that the Business of the Year was a success with three Mounds View businesses <br />receiving awards. Commissioner Carlson provided some insight on organizational and leadership issues <br />currently confronting the Chamber. <br /> <br />C. Report of Staff <br /> i. Manufactured Home Park Revitalization Program: Coordinator Parrish indicated that the city received a $100,000 Community Development Block Grant to fund the Manufactured Home Park Revitalization Program. ii. County Highway 10 Reconstruction and Revitalization Study: Coordinator Parrish updated the Commission on the current status of the County Highway 10 Reconstruction and Revitalization study. He informed the Commission that the first meeting of the Highway 10 project team would be on July 11th, 2001, and that the first Community Meeting would take place on July 16th, 2001.
