Acquisition of 2091 Hillview Road: Director Ericson discussed the ongoing efforts to acquire a boarded up Fourplex from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. iv. Longview Estates Subdivision: Director Ericson discussed the potential subdivision of property off of Silver Lake Road just to the north of Woodcrest Park. v. Minneapolis Metro North Convention and Visitors Bureau: Coordinator Parrish indicated that the ordinance establishing a local lodging tax was passed by the Council enabling the city to participate in the Minneapolis Metro North Convention and Visitors Bureau. An agreement articulating the services to be provided to the City was also approved by the Council. <br /> <br />6. EDC BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. Presentation and Overview of the Comprehensive Plan <br /> Director Ericson provide an overview of the Comprehensive Plan including a discussion of the <br />economic development element and proposed changes to the future land use map. <br />B. County Road H2 Residential Infill Development <br /> Coordinator Parrish provided additional information to the Commission relative to the proposed <br />County Road H2 Infill Development. He indicated that the EDA recently purchased a home <br />located at 3016 County Road H2 and that a neighborhood meeting would take place later in <br />the month. <br />C. Discuss Disetronic Medical Systems Business Retention Visit. <br />Commissioner Carlson and Coordinator Parrish discussed the most recent Business Retention <br />Visit conducted at Disetronic Medical Systems. <br /> <br />7.
