SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> <br />No Special Business Scheduled. <br /> <br />5. REPORT OF COMMISSIONERS, STAFF AND EDA LIAISON <br /> <br />A. Commissioner Reports: None <br /> <br />B. Report of EDA Liaison: None <br /> <br />C. TCN Chamber of Commerce Update: As members are aware the state legislature is in session <br />and various discussions have been held regarding LGA cuts, joint and several liability reform, <br />and transportation funding. Backman has attended Friday morning conference calls for <br />legislative updates with the Minnesota Chamber. The Chamber’s Spring Golf Tournament <br />occurs next week on May 20th at Majestic Oaks. Helgemoe noted that 152 people have signed <br />up so far to participate. The Chamber continues to seek sponsorships or silent auction items for <br />this fundraising event. <br /> <br />
