CALL TO ORDER: <br /> <br /> Chairperson Torri Johnson called the meeting to order at 7:45 a.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL: <br /> <br /> Members Present: Greg Belting, Jackie Entsminger, David Fox, Tom Field, Jason Helgemoe, <br />Torri Johnson, Stan McDonald <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />Staff Present: Economic Development Coordinator Aaron Backman <br />Others Present: None <br /> <br /> <br />3. APPROVAL OF EDC MINUTES: <br /> <br />Motion/Second: Field moved and McDonald seconded the approval of the July 16, 2004, August 20, <br />2004 and September 17, 2004 EDC minutes. <br /> <br />Motion Carried: 7 Ayes 0 Nays <br /> <br />4. SPECIAL BUSINESS <br /> <br />A. At the end of December the terms for two Commissioners, Tom Field and Dave Fox, are ending. <br />Mr. Field would like to continue on the EDC and is seeking another three-year term. Mr. Fox is <br />not continuing on the Commission. Jerry Jaker, the Executive Director of the Minnesota Institute <br />of Public Health, has filled out an application to serve as a business representative on the EDC. <br />Backman has provided the application to Mayor Linke for his review. <br /> <br />5. REPORT OF COMMISSIONERS, STAFF AND EDA LIAISON <br /> <br />A. Commissioner Reports: None <br /> <br />B. Report of Staff: <br /> <br />1. Home Construction Begun—Pro Craft Development (Hidden Hollow): Things have <br />continued to move forward. Construction is underway on three homes in the City’s newest <br />subdivision, Hidden Hollow. The unit that is farthest along is the model home next to Co. Rd <br />H2. At some point in the future the EDC members will tour some of the new homes.
