RESOLUTION NO. 8829 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR <br />JAMES ERICSON, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />WHEREAS, James Ericson has resigned as City Administrator for the City of <br />Mounds View; his last day of employment was September 8, 2017; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with the Mounds View Personnel Manual, Mr. Ericson <br />is eligible for a cash payout of his vacation hours and is eligible to receive 65% of his sick <br />leave hours deposited into his Retirement Health Savings Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Ericson's balance of accrued and unused vacation is 358.36 <br />hours; and his sick leave balance is 591.96 hours; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Ericson's rate of pay upon resignation was $64.74 per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />approves severance to James Ericson consistent with the Mounds View Personnel <br />Manual as follows: <br />Hours Hourly rate <br />Payout <br />Vacation Hours 358.36 $64.74 <br />$24,910.27 Cash Payout <br />65% of Sick Leave 1384.77 1 $64.74 <br />$23,200.01 into RHSP <br />Total Severance: <br />$48,110.28 <br />Adopted this 25th day of September, 2017. <br />Carol A.
