a. Building Inspection Services and Additional Requested Work. The City hereby <br />agrees to pay Contractor for the furnishing of Services hereunder an hourly rate of <br />$65.00 per hour for plan review, site inspections, office support and any additional <br />services identified and mutually agreed upon by both the City and Contractor. This <br />shall serve as the general rate for all Services performed under this Agreement, <br />unless another rate is otherwise specified for particular tasks herein. <br />b. After Hours Work. Inspections and/or other service requests outside of normal <br />business hours, Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, will be billed at the <br />rate of $80.00 per hour. For all work billed at this rate, there shall be a 1 -hour <br />minimum for any time entries under this paragraph. These terms are intended to <br />be applied to emergency disaster response and the evaluation of buildings after <br />natural or manmade disasters. <br />C. Transportation. Contractor shall be responsible for all costs related to <br />transportation to its completion of the Services hereunder. <br />d. Attendance at City Council Meetings. Contractor attendance at required City <br />Council workshops and regularly scheduled City Council meetings will be billed <br />at a rate of $65.00 per hour. <br />e. Office Hours. The Contractor and City shall agree to a schedule for office hours <br />as needed. Contractor hereby agrees to conduct such office hours, compensable at <br />a rate of $65.00 per hour. <br />f. Remote Office Hours. The Contractor shall be available during non -office hours <br />to accept inquiries from City Staff, residents, and contractors, through phone calls, <br />emails, or other means of communications. During such inquires, the Contractor <br />shall record all time in increments of 1/10 of an hour. Each entry shall list the date, <br />the time spent, the person doing the work, and a brief but reasonably detailed <br />description of the work that was completed. Contractor hereby agrees to conduct <br />such non -office hours, compensable at a rate of $65.00 per hour, in increments of <br />1/10 of an hour. <br />g. Travel Time. All compensable travel time authorized under this paragraph shall <br />be billed at a rate of $65.00 per hour. Travel time shall begin when the Contractor <br />arrives at the Mounds View City hall, or the first location where Services are <br />scheduled to be performed for that day, and such time shall end upon leaving the <br />Mounds View City Hall, or the last location where Services are to be performed at <br />the end of the day. The Contractor shall not be reimbursed for travel time <br />associated with travelling between its principal offices and Mounds View City Hall <br />or the locations where Services are to be provided, nor the time associated with <br />returning to Contractor's principal offices from Mounds View City Hall or the <br />location where Services are provided, as stated herein. <br />h. Forms. All forms, handouts, permits and paper copies to be provided to Mounds <br />View residents and contractors conducting work in the City will be generated by <br />507518v5 AMB MU125-11 <br />
