The second DWI saturation occurred on August 16th and was hosted by the North Saint Paul <br />PD. The entire detail conducted 183 traffic stops and made 13 DWI arrests. <br />The third DWI saturation was held on September 20th and was hosted by the Maplewood PD. <br />The entire detail conducted 140 traffic stops and made 11 DWI arrests. <br />The fourth DWI saturation occurred on September 27th and was hosted by the Minnesota <br />State Patrol. The saturation focused on the highways in Ramsey County. The entire detail <br />conducted 156 traffic stops and made 10 DWI arrests. Sergeant Zender worked the detail, <br />conducting 15 traffic stops and making a DWI arrest (which resulted in a vehicle forfeiture). <br />There were 11 other DWI saturations conducted by the RCTSI during the 3`d quarter. Mounds <br />View PD did not participate in these events due to our current staffing shortages. The <br />department currently has two new hires involved in "Field Training." <br />Over the dates of July 6th- 21St Mounds View PD officers participated in the "July Speed <br />Enforcement' detail. We had 6 officers work this event over the course of the detail for a total <br />of 65 hours. Our officers conducted 155 traffic stops resulting in the following citations: 117 <br />for speeding, 2 seatbelts, 2 for drive after suspension/ revocation and 9 for miscellaneous <br />violations. <br />Over the dates of August 16th- 31St, Mounds View PD officers participated in the "Labor Day <br />DWI Enforcement' detail. We had 7 officers work this event over the course of the detail for a <br />total of 78 hours. The detail resulted in 2 DWI arrests.
