RESOLUTION 8860 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING A COST OF LIVING ADJUSTMENT (COLA), INSURANCE <br />CONTRIBUTION, AND INSURANCE OPT -OUT PAYMENT FOR NON-UNION <br />EMPLOYEES <br />WHEREAS, the Personnel Compensation Schedule must be annually approved <br />by Council Resolution; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council desires to provide a competitive compensation <br />package and has traditionally awarded the same cost of living adjustment and insurance <br />contribution to all employee groups in order to maintain internal equity; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has offered an Insurance Opt -out payment; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends a COLA increase of 2.75%, a monthly insurance <br />contribution of $1095, and an insurance opt -out payment of $260 per month for all non- <br />union employees, effective January 1, 2018 <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a 2.75% Cost of Living Adjustment, a monthly insurance contribution of <br />$1095, and a monthly insurance opt -out payment of $260 for all non-union employees, <br />effective January 1, 2018. <br />Adopted this 27th day of November, 2017. <br />Carol A.
