Item No: 9.G. <br />Meeting Date: December 2017Mou"M Te of usiness: Council Business VE <br />Administrator Review: <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor & City Council and EDA President and <br />Commissioners <br />From: Brian Beeman, Business Development Coordinator <br />Mark Beer, Finance Director <br />Item Title/Subject: Joint Resolution 8879 & 17 -EDA -302 Approving a Loan <br />Origination and Home Energy Squad Enhanced Visit <br />Agreement Between the Economic Development Authority and <br />the Center for Energy and Environment <br />Background: <br />At their November 6, 2017 City Council Workshop the Council reviewed and discussed the Center <br />for Energy and Environment's (CEE) housing loan programs and proposed loan origination <br />agreement between the Economic Development Authority and CEE, including the program <br />guidelines and Mounds View revolving loan program budget. <br />The Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation (GMHC) will no longer be servicing Mounds View's <br />loan programs forcing the City to find another agency to administer the loan programs. <br />Discussion: <br />Staff has discussed the Council's desire for any changes to the agreement and loan programs with <br />CEE.
