RESOLUTION NO. 8878 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A SCOPE OF SERVICES TO COMPLETE THE <br />COMPREHENSIVE PLAN <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View adopted a Comprehensive Plan for the City of <br />Mounds View in 1979, and is required to be updated and submitted for review to the <br />Metropolitan Council every ten years, with the current update to be submitted by December 31, <br />2018; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has provided the City with a Checklist of <br />Minimum Requirements for Mounds View to be included in the Plan update; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City is in need of assistance to complete such requirements; and, <br />WHEREAS, Stantec has submitted a Scope of Services to Complete the Comprehensive <br />Plan, dated December 1, 2017, with a cost estimate of: <br />$44,716 "Mounds View Comprehensive Plan" <br />$46,000 "Mounds View Comprehensive Plan — Water Plan Updates and Surface <br />Water Management Plan" <br />$90,716 TOTAL <br />WHEREAS, funds are included in the proposed 2018 budget; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council <br />authorizes the Mayor and Interim City Administrator to sign the Scope of Services, dated <br />December 1, 2017; and, <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Staff and Stantec will work <br />together to reduce costs as much as possible. <br />Adopted this 1 lth day of December 2017. <br />Carol A.
