Mounds View City Council January 8, 2018 <br />Regular Meeting Page 8 <br />2 Mayor Mueller questioned when the City would be ready to issue permits for small cell towers. <br />3 Public Works Director Peterson explained staff would be ready to issue permits after the second <br />4 reading of this Ordinance. <br />5 <br />6 Council Member Gunn asked if the City would charge a fee for the use of its poles. Public <br />7 Works Director Peterson reported a $150 fee per year would be charged for use of City's poles. <br />8 <br />9 MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the First Reading and Introduce Ordinance <br />10 940, Amending Municipal Code, Section 910, regarding the Management of Right -of -Way <br />11 within the City of Mounds View. <br />12 <br />13 Ayes — 5 Nays — 0 Motion carried. <br />14 <br />15 Mayor Mueller thanked the Public Works and Community Development Departments for their <br />16 efforts on this item. <br />17 <br />18 C. Resolution 8890, Approving Four (4) Hours of Comp/Flex Time for all FT <br />19 Employees in Recognition of Outstanding Service for 2017. <br />20 <br />21 City Administrator Zikmund requested the Council approve four (4) hours of Comp/Flex time for <br />22 all full-time employees in recognition of their outstanding service in 2017. He stated this <br />23 recommendation was brought about after the Council's worksession meeting held on December <br />24 4th. In recognition of staff's great efforts the Council was being asked to approve four hours of <br />25 comp/flex time. <br />26 <br />27 Council Member Hull stated 2017 was a rough year for the City's employees and the Human <br />28 Resources Committee would like to reward its employees for their outstanding service to the <br />29 community through the four hours of comp/flex time. <br />30 <br />31 Mayor Mueller thanked all staff members for their great work in 2017. <br />32 <br />33 MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. Resolution 8891, Approving Miscellaneous Purchases for the Public Works <br />Facility. <br />Public Works Director Peterson requested the Council approve miscellaneous purchases for the <br />Public Works Facility. He explained that during the phasing of this project some of the items <br />were not included in the construction contract, but were included in the overall project.
