RESOLUTION 8899 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION OF APPRECTION TO CITY OF BLAINE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View approved construction of a new public works <br />facility in 2016; and <br />WHEREAS, the project required demolition and removal of the existing public <br />works facility thereby requiring a secure and environmentally controlled location for a <br />portion of the fleet; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Blaine, upon receiving a mutual aid request of assistance <br />for temporary storage, greeted that outreach with a neighborly welcome and generous <br />acceptance of aid; and <br />WHEREAS, the equipment bay portion of the new Mounds View Public Works <br />building was completed on January 15, 2018 thus allowing equipment to return which <br />subsequently occurred the following two days. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />gratefully acknowledges and extends our appreciation and gratitude to the City of Blaine <br />for their kind assistance during this time of transition. <br />Adopted this 22nd day of January, 2018 <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Mayor Carol A.
